The Carl Valentin Compa II industrial printer uses thermal transfer ribbon to print on paper or synthetic labels, supplied on rolls or fan-folded, self-adhesive or not, with speed and efficiency.

Thanks to the perfect synergy between ribbon, label material and print pressure, the Carl Valentin Compa II label printer can produce durable prints on metal tags, adhesive labels, paper, cardboard, fabric and plastic. Labels can be customised quickly to meet specific requirements, ensuring resistance to abrasion, weather and chemical agents.

Product identification and traceability are guaranteed for the entire product life cycle. The outer casing and print mechanics are built with high-quality materials, perfectly matched for reliability. A wide choice of peripherals and software programs is available to meet any additional customer needs.

The Carl Valentin Compa II industrial label printer is available in two main models, handling media up to 116 mm or up to 170 mm wide; thanks to its modular design, COMPA can be fitted with accessories such as label rewinders, dispensing units and cutters.

Technical Features

Suitable for large rolls up to 200 mm in diameter, with print speeds of up to 200 mm/s, the Compa II features dual USB host ports for connecting a USB keyboard and a memory stick, a Compact Flash card slot, and a large 132 x 64 pixel graphic display with white backlighting. LAN, USB, serial and parallel interfaces come as standard, with an optional WLAN 802.11 b/g interface. It is extremely simple to operate and maintain.

Cutting device
The semi-rotary cutting device of the Compa II series can cut label materials weighing up to approximately 200 g/m². The blade can be mounted on the printer quickly and easily and allows single, interval and final cuts.

External rewinder
External rewinders can wind label rolls up to a maximum diameter of 300 mm and can be fitted to any type of printer thanks to an internal power supply.

Label dispenser
Printing is triggered once the label has been removed, either through the dispenser photocell or by an external signal on the dispenser input. During this stage the liner is wound onto the standard internal rewinder.

Stand-alone operation
Thanks to its standard dual USB host for connecting a USB keyboard and a memory stick, plus a Compact Flash drive, this system is ideally suited to stand-alone use.
