Bbull Alpha-X

System for checking the correct filling of containers with liquid and solid products

The Bbull Alpha-X level control system can inspect transparent or opaque containers in glass, plastic, PET and cans and is suitable for products such as beer, spirits, soft drinks, water, juices, oil and chemical products. The Bbull Alpha-X level control system uses an X-ray beam of just 1 mm that penetrates the container to check that the product inside reaches the correct level. High-precision digital inspection distinguishes underfilling from overfilling with separate bridges and is suitable for installation in areas where foam forms. The operating system, based on Windows 10, is extremely stable and proves reliable with all applications and can inspect:
  • Bottles with crown caps or other metal caps
  • Beverage cans
  • Food cans

Control unit

The Alpha Line control unit manages both level checking and the tightness of the closure system.

Alpha Line drives the various inspection sensors and allows complete inspection of products in the beverage market.

Thanks to this easy, intuitive HMI, up to 14 sensors can be connected and driven for Alpha-X level control and Alpha CIS seal control with a cascade system.

The unit is easy to install even on existing lines and is height-adjustable to make format changeovers easier.

FAQ

What are industrial inspection and control systems?

Inspection and control systems are technologies that automatically verify the quality, safety and compliance of products during production. They make it possible to detect contaminants, check weight, verify the fill level and the integrity of packs, reducing waste and preventing non-compliant products from being distributed.

What is the difference between a metal detector and an X-ray inspection system?

A metal detector detects metal contaminants only, whereas an X-ray system also identifies non-metallic contaminants such as glass, stone, calcified bone and some types of high-density plastic, as well as verifying the integrity of the product.

What is a checkweigher used for?

A checkweigher automatically checks the weight of every pack on the line, rejecting products outside tolerance and guaranteeing compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

When is it necessary to use a level control or seal control system?

Level control systems verify that every pack contains the correct quantity of product, while seal control systems make sure that packs are perfectly sealed, avoiding leaks and preserving quality and safety.

Can several inspection systems be combined on the same production line?

Yes, metal detectors, X-ray systems, checkweighers and level or seal control systems can be integrated on the same line to guarantee complete, automated quality control.
