Bbull Alpha Cis

Closure inspection system for the food and beverage sectors

The Bbull Alpha Cis seal inspection system is the system for checking the closure of cans and of glass and PET bottles with metal or plastic caps. Bbull Alpha Cis inspects all types of closure without contact at up to 72,000 pieces/hour, including:
  • Missing caps
  • Tilted caps
  • Deformed capsules
  • Lack of vacuum
  • Lack of pressure
  • High pressure
The type of cap, the colour, the label and the presence of water drops do not affect the inspection. With an inspection capacity of 1,200 products/minute, Bbull Alpha Cis is a system suitable even for the fastest food and beverage plants; its compact dimensions mean it can easily be fitted into lines that are already running, and it is suited to the canning, beverage and soft drinks industries.

The Main Benefits

icona ispezione beverage

The Bbull Alpha Cis seal inspection system uses a proximity sensor to check metal caps and a laser sensor for plastic caps.

icona integrazione 2

The system is available as a stand-alone unit or for integration into complete filling systems.

icona raggiungimento obbiettivi

Production data (counters, good/reject) is recorded in real time: this makes it possible to identify malfunctions promptly and take corrective
action on the cause of excess rejects.

The importance of control systems in the food and beverage sector

Today not only are consumers increasingly attentive to their purchasing choices, but regulatory and control bodies are also increasingly strict in penalising companies that do not scrupulously follow quality control standards for food and beverage products.

Control unit

The Alpha Line control unit manages both level checking and the tightness of the closure system.

Alpha Line drives the various inspection sensors and allows complete inspection of products in the beverage market.

Thanks to this easy, intuitive HMI, up to 14 sensors can be connected and driven for Alpha-X level control and Alpha CIS seal control with a cascade system.

The unit is easy to install even on existing lines and is height-adjustable to make format changeovers easier.

FAQ

What are industrial inspection and control systems?

Inspection and control systems are technologies that automatically verify the quality, safety and compliance of products during production. They make it possible to detect contaminants, check weight, verify the fill level and the integrity of packs, reducing waste and preventing non-compliant products from being distributed.

What is the difference between a metal detector and an X-ray inspection system?

A metal detector detects metal contaminants only, whereas an X-ray system also identifies non-metallic contaminants such as glass, stone, calcified bone and some types of high-density plastic, as well as verifying the integrity of the product.

What is a checkweigher used for?

A checkweigher automatically checks the weight of every pack on the line, rejecting products outside tolerance and guaranteeing compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

When is it necessary to use a level control or seal control system?

Level control systems verify that every pack contains the correct quantity of product, while seal control systems make sure that packs are perfectly sealed, avoiding leaks and preserving quality and safety.

Can several inspection systems be combined on the same production line?

Yes, metal detectors, X-ray systems, checkweighers and level or seal control systems can be integrated on the same line to guarantee complete, automated quality control.
