X-ray system for the inspection of vertical packaging
The Aicon Side Scan series is designed for the X-ray inspection of products in vertical packaging, such as bottles, jars, cans, tubes and tins. The system uses a side-scanning geometry (single or multi-beam) that makes it possible to accurately analyse the most critical areas of the container – such as the base, the walls and the cap area – ensuring effective detection of contaminants and filling defects even in complex or opaque products. The range comprises several configurations: 1-View for standard single-side inspection, 2-View for two-sided control, and the 4-View and 4-BV versions for complete 360° inspection, ideal for high-throughput lines and high-value products. High-speed data processing and dual-energy imaging technology ensure maximum detection accuracy even at high line speeds. Made of stainless steel with a hygienic design and IP69 protection rating, Aicon Side Scan is designed for production environments that require frequent washdowns and high food safety standards.
